The Muny Experience: Must Have Monday

What if I offered you a trip of a lifetime? Where would you go? Who would you take with you?

Would you be interested in travelling with a hot Blonde? Whirlwind romance, maybe with a fairytale ending?  Exotic locations? and Drama, drama, drama! The Muny can offer it all!  The Muny is St. Louis’ outdoor amphitheater located in beautiful Forest Park.  Each week there is a new adventure and destination waiting for you!

Last Thursday, I took my daughter on an adventure “Under the Sea” without even leaving the state. Colorful marine life sang and danced through the evening during  The Muny’s performance of “The Little Mermaid”

Unbelievable scenery, unforgettable characters and best of all, a unique experience for my daughter and me to share. The show was amazing! The musical numbers were fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better evening.

My daughter will be singing ”Little Mermaid” songs until our next show, I’m sure. She was extremely taken by Ursula, the scene stealing sea witch. I was assured that it was “only when she’s singing, though because she isn’t very nice!”  There were so many fun characters! Together they created a magical world that swept us all away.

Must Have Monday...Jilly's cupcake bar & cafe

Holy Cupcakes!!!  Anyone who's been to Jilly's cupcake bar knows exactly what I'm talking about.  These divine treats are unforgettable. 

You may have seen chefs Casey Shiller and Dana Holland recently on Food Network's Cupcake Wars.  They were the first team ever from Missouri to appear on the show and they won!!  Not a surprise to anyone who has experienced any of Jilly's creations.  As you can see from the pictures Jilly's cupcakes are unique and beautiful, but words cannot describe the taste.  Their gourmet-stuffed cupcakes are a must try!

Must Have Monday!

Avaeli Couture Jewelry Design!  Definitely a Must Have for me!  I purchased one of these fabulous pieces at a jewelry party a friend of mine was having.  It is by far one of my favorite pieces and I wear it often.  My sister was getting married at the time and I had a necklace made with the birthstones of her and her fiance's and a circle with the date of their wedding.   It was the perfect bridal shower gift!

While their catalog features jewelry from artists around the world, the hand-stamped collection is designed and made by the owner, Jennifer Woodall.  This collection is truly unique and the pieces make such special gifts for loved ones.
